The past year has been difficult for me from a creative point of view. I love making music, but I felt increasingly restrained by the narrow boundaries that EBM allows. Therefore, Pro Patria will be put on hold for some time, but that doesn’t mean that I won’t be publishing anything anymore.
I hereby present you my next project, which I will simply publish under my own name (Peter V): Metropolis. The 1927 expressionist film by Fritz Lang is generally considered one of the all-time masterpieces of cinema and for many years I’ve been dreaming about making a contemporary music score for it.
So here it is… the first part of it anyway. The (digital) album will sell for €1 only and I will add the consecutive parts as I finish them, and in the end I will publish the full movie with my score. I hope that you enjoy this taste of my new project. Comments are always appreciated.
